Joy List - Part 2

Having one of those days that I am going to have to be intentional about looking for the joy around me. Nothing has gone wrong today. The kids are being kids, but not out of control. I have run errands successfully and even sent out a few emails that I had put off doing yesterday. Today is a pretty good day. But my hormones want me to believe other wise. So for my own therapy and your viewing enjoyment...here is my joy list for today.

-Lainey's bright smile and bed head in the morning
-Putting on my wedding dress and being able to zip it up
-Katie's little clapping hands (her newest trick)
-New hair product
-Both children napping at the same time
-The book FREEDOM by Jonathan Franzen borrowed from the library
-Funny texts from a friend that make me laugh out loud
-Homemade version of Sprite (lemon and lime juice, agave nectar, and sparkling water)
-Knowing that vacation begins a week from today
-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 arrived from Netflix
-Making a wish list on Nordstrom.com to send to my husband for gift ideas
-Convincing Lainey it's okay to pee pee in the sand under the pier at the beach by telling her that is how Princess Ariel goes potty. [fyi...there were absolutely no bathrooms around and it was urgent]
-Underwriting and auction items coming in for the Fabric of Freedom Gala
-The smell of a freshly bathed baby
-Alone time
-Cooking Light Magazine
-Scotch Tape
-Free shipping
-Lainey swimming in the pool with floats on her arms
-Father's Day morning picture attempts
