Mom's One Line a Day - New Year's Resolution

One of my New Year's resolution is to be more intentional about documenting the everyday moments that make up life. Part of that is to try and discipline myself to fill out "Mom's One Line a Day."
I received it in my stocking this Christmas and am excited about the idea of having this book filled out and the keepsake it could be for my kiddos someday. I am fearful that I won't make it past January and so I will have five years worth of January memories!
My hope is that since it truly is just one sentence a day, I will be able to stick with it. (pay no attention to my awful printing!) I can follow through with something that takes two minutes a day, right? RIGHT? I like that each page will show five years of memories for that particular day!

I almost wish they had a baby book similar to this! Lainey's has been filled in with some memories. Katie's has a few, but I am in desperate need to catch up. I fear that Liam's will look brand new as we look through it twenty years from now.

So here is for hoping!

Another of my New Year's resolutions is to not be pregnant on New Year's Eve 2012 and to be out celebrating somewhere in this dress! The dress is currently hanging in my closet, I am feeling that optimistic about this year!

What have you resolved to do in the 2012?

  2. I actually have one of those books too and documented in in throughout the first year of Raegan's life and hope to continue. I haven't been good about doing one line a day but am going to try to as well. Love it!
